Tuff Dogs 4 BAA 1Tuff Dogs sent out a powerful message to the rest of the Corona League with this convincing victory over BAA in a top-of-the-table clash.Lamual Crofton and Yuseff Pitt both scored two apiece while Adam Shaw netted for BAA.After a goalless first half it was BAA skipper Shaw who opened the scoring in the 55th minute with a low finish from 12 yards.But after that it was all downhill for the Greens.Dogs equalised just five minutes later when a crossfield pass was controlled and volleyed home by Crofton.Dogs then went ahead within minutes as BAA failed to pick up Crofton after a long punt upfield allowed the striker to go one on one and lob the BAA ‘keeper from 18 yards.BAA reshuffled the pack as they went looking for an equaliser but Tuff Dogs took full advantage of their gaps in the back as Pitt grabbed two late goals to take all three points and a share of top spot.Robin Hood 1 Vasco 0Robin Hood picked up a well earned three points in a game that saw both sides reduced to ten men.Hood created several chances in the first half but were unable to convert.The deadlock, however, was broken midway through the second half when Grant McKellar struck a powerful low shot past the Vasco goalkeeper after a slick build-up in midfield.West End United 2 Lobster Pot 1West End United continued their move up the table with this victory over Lobster Pot.Eugene Simmons and Frances Desilva jr scored for the winners while Michael Simons netted for Pot.North Village 3 Flanagan’s Onions 2Three goals from three different players was enough to give North Village this win over Flanagan’s.Goals from Kyle Lightbourne, Nakia Smith and Eugene Calder propelled Village to victory while Phil Anderson and Keith Szmierek scored for Flanagan’s.Lock N Key 8 St David’s 1Quinton Basden and Chris Furbert both scored braces as Lock N Key overwhelmed the East Enders.Torie Russell, Shawn York, Shae Smith and Jah Simmons all scored one apiece in what turned out to be a landslide victory.Chris Pitcher scored the lone goal for St. David’s.Valley FC 1 St George’s 5Ruben Rego struck twice as St George’s proved too good for Valley.Angelo Cannonier, Coolidge Durham and Andy Willams also got on the scoresheet.
