Reggie Lambe’s Toronto FC will take on English giants Liverpool at the Rogers Centre in a friendly match in July.It will mark the first time an MLS side has played the Merseyside outfit, with the game taking place on July 21 at 4pm Eastern Time.Liverpool, five-time European champions, made one appearance at Rogers Centre in 2004 against Portuguese side Porto in front of over 40,000 fans.The friendly against Toronto FC will kick off Liverpool’s summer tour of North America.Tickets go on sale to the general public next month.Bermuda international Lambe scored twice against Chicago Fire last weekend. Toronto lost the match 3-2.
