Teen Cann impresses Rage coach

Hamilton FC Rage coach Brett Mosen has been impressed with the attitude of Bermuda teenager Kianu Cann who is training with the team on an short-term basis while looking at schools in Canada. The 16-year-old has received good reports during his two-week training experience with the Premier Development League (PDL) side. The Devonshire Colts youngster travelled to the club as part of a joint venture between the Bermuda Brazilian Football School (BBFS) and the Rage.Mosen, who regularly attends the BBFS annual College Showcase at the National Sports Centre, is pleased with how the youngster has performed in a professional environment.“It’s been a pleasure having Kianu here with us, he has been a great fit, been accepted well by the players and moulded into our set up quite easily,” said Mosen.“He is a committed lad with a drive to succeed, I’d be happy to have him back anytime and as I have already told him willing to assist, advise, help in any way I can for him to succeed.“He also has impeccable manners and represents not only BBFS’s well but also Bermuda, and everyone should be proud of him.”Mosen said there had been discussions about the BBFS sending an Under-16 team to Canada to train with Rage so to give the Bermuda youngsters greater exposure overseas.“There is enough talent here right now that we should get as much exposure as possible, maybe bringing a Under-15 or 16 team to train with the team and showcase them in games against local competition to Canadian coaches as well as those from the United States.”
