BBFS score two wins in Denmark
The Bermuda Brazilian Football School (BBFS) recorded two wins on day two of the Brondby Cup in Denmark yesterday.Fresh off a comfortable win on opening day to even their record at one win and one loss, BBFS held onto 1-0 victory over Olystykke FC of Denmark courtesy of a San-Tze Burgess strike. The game was decided about a quick counter attack down the right flank that saw Richard Jones jr play a through ball to Burgess who made no mistake after holding off two defenders to score the only goal of the game.Burgess is the son of former Bermuda national team captain Shannon Burgess. The second match of the day saw the Bermuda club walk away comfortable 7-1 winners over FK Grimsley of Sweden.Christen Lugo Elibox, Khyree Hollis and Burgess all scored twice while Diione Millett netted one.Officials made four positional changes due to fatigue and player rotation but the side didn’t miss a beat in the heavy win.Today will see the team face tough opposition from BK Skjold and Vallensbaek IF of Denmark.
