International coaches Thadeu Goncalves and Keith Tozer will travel to the Island later this month to conduct Bermuda Futsal Federation’s (BFF) first International Futsal Camp.The camp, for players aged five-18, will be held at Dellwood Middle School Gym from August 28 to September 1.Frequent visitor Goncalves is the current president of BFUT (Institute Brasileiro De Futebol) while Tozer is head coach of the US national futsal team.The pair will be assisted by Bermuda’s David Bascome who is assistant coach of US indoor side Baltimore Blast.During the upcoming camp participants will be exposed to the sport which has aided in the development of some of the world’s elite footballers andembraced by a growing number of coaches and academies.Those interested in registering for the camp can do so at Capital G Bank (Reid Street entrance) from August 26 and 27 between 12 noon to 2pm each day or via mail at bdafutsal@yahoo.com.Registration deadline is August 27 while a late registration will be held on August 28 at Dellwood Middle School.Registration forms can be obtained at select Hamilton sports stores and the Bermuda Football Association (BFA).Completed forms with payment (cheques payable to the Bermuda Futsal Federation) should be submitted either at registration or at the BFA office.For further information contact BFF president Peter Sousa at bdafutsal@yahoo.com.
