Footy Force had mixed results at the World Futsal Championship in Orlando, Florida.

The youngsters had a draw and two defeats, the more scathing of which came against Barcelona, the Spanish powerhouse. Footy Force enjoyed a good first half against the Catalan side before being overwhelmed 15-3. Knory Scott scored twice for the Bermudian side and Tai’Quan Davis got the other.

Footy Force were more competitive in their second match but were pegged back late for a 7-7 draw against Legends. Scott was again among the goals, this time with four, while Davis had a pair and Jomeko Mallory one.

In their final match in group A, Footy Force were beaten 7-5 by City Futsal in a hard-fought affair. Scott and Davis had two goals apiece and Mallory the other.

The result condemned Footy Force to finishing bottom of the group, but they will be in action again today in the Silver division semi-finals.
