The Bermuda Cricket Board and Chivas Regal, the leader in quality blended scotch, have announced Lloyd Smith as this week’s winner of the Chivas Cricket Sportsman Award.

Smith has been involved in Bermuda cricket for more than 30 years, starting as a player for Devonshire Recreation Club and going on to contribute many years of administrative service at club and national level.

In recent years, Smith has prepared the weekly calculations for the MVP standings, batting, bowling and fielding statistics, which are closely followed by the cricket community. He is also very active in umpiring local matches at senior and junior level.
