Tuff Dogs’ unbeaten run ended
Tuff Dogs were defeated in the league for the first time in almost two years after losing to Lock and Key 4-2 at Goose Gosling Field on Friday night.
Jeff Franklin handed Tuff Dogs the lead with a fine header from a Marcel Dill cross, but Dion Stovell equalised for Lock and Key on the stroke of half-time.
Tuff Dogs’ other scorer was Milton Ferreira, with Stephen Astwood, Otis Minors and Marvin Belboda on target for Lock and Key.
Also on Friday, West End United beat Vasco 3-2 with goals from Chris DeSilva, Duncan Barclay and Trevor Corday. Kevin Arruda and Quincy Paynter scored for Vasco.
In Saturday’s games, Robin Hood were held to 2-2 draw against North Village Rams. Keenan Robinson and Jamie Smith scored for Hood, with Randy Spence and Aljame Zuill finding the net for Rams.
B&V United enjoyed a 3-1 victory over Flanagan’s Onions. Lashun Smith scored a brace and Joshua Crockwell also found the net for United, with Leroy Stevens scoring an own goal.
Lobster Pot beat BAA Wanderers 3-2 with Somner King and Paulo Sousa scoring for BAA. Lobster Pot’s scorers could not be confirmed.
