Huddersfield claim honours in derby
Nahki Wells came on after 78 minutes in Huddersfield Town’s 1-0 win away to Leeds United in the Sky Bet Championship today.
Wells, who has scored one goal this season, replaced Elias Kachunga and help his side claim the bragging rights in the Yorkshire derby and remain top of the table, four points ahead of Barnsley.
Aaron Mooy’s spectacular long-range strike after the break earned unbeaten Huddersfield the win.
Meanwhile, Reggie Lambe came on at half-time in Carlisle United’s 2-2 draw at home against Leyton Orient.
Orient took the lead through Paul McCallum just before half-time before Charlie Wyke hit back soon after the interval.
Harry Cornick restored the visiting side’s advantage on 64 minutes but Carlisle salvaged a point when Danny Grainger converted an 87th minute penalty.
