Reggie Lambe helped Cambridge United to a 1-0 win at home to bottom club Macclesfield Town in the Sky Bet League Two yesterday.

Jabo Ibehre struck late on to earn Cambridge victory and lift them to twentieth in the table.

Lambe came close in the first half when his swerving effort was tipped over by Macclesfield goalkeeper Taylor.

Amar Lewis came on as a second-half substitute in Brightlingsea Regent’s 1-0 away to Canvey Island in the FA Trophy first qualifying round yesterday. Billy Hunt scored from a penalty in the 81st minute.

Danté Leverock, the Bermuda defender, could not prevent nine-man Narva Trans suffering a 4-1 defeat away to Tulevik in the Estonian top flight today.

Herol Riiberg scored twice while Kristjan Kask and Rainer Peips also chipped in with goals.

Narva Trans scored a consolation goal from Vadim Mihhailov in added time. Aleksandr Zakarlyuka was sent off in the 38th minute and Elysee was dismissed in the 73rd minute.
