QPR suffer eighth defeat in nine

Nahki Wells’s Queens Park Rangers suffered their eighth defeat in nine matches away to Brentford in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday.
A penalty from Neal Maupay and goals from Benrahma and Sergi Canos gave Brentford a 3-0 win. Wells was substituted in the 74th minute.
Jonté Smith was an unused substitute in Oxford United 2-1 win at home to Scunthorpe United in League One on Saturday. Jerome Sinclair scored twice for Oxford, while George Thomas pulled a goal back for Scunthorpe.
Meanwhile, Reggie Lambe came off in the 77th minute in Cambridge United’s 2-0 win away to Grimsby Town in League Two on Saturday.
Goals from George Taft and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy boosted Cambridge’s survival hopes.
