Bermuda picked up their second win in the Concacaf Under-15 Championships in Bradenton, Florida, yesterday when they defeated Aruba 4-2 in a Division 2 Group H match.

Aaron Lugo, the head coach, described it as “ a very intense” game as Bermuda opened the scoring through Keyni Mills in the first half, only to see Aruba level the score.

Mills scored from a shot inside the box that took a deflection off a defender.

Mills also had a hand in the second goal when his free kick was parried by the goalkeeper and Eijaz Shakir tapped home the rebound from close range. Aruba levelled it at 2-2 before Remy Coddington ran onto a through ball and rounded the goalkeeper before scoring.

Sincere Hall closed out the scoring with the fourth goal.

“We appreciated all the hard work that the guys keep putting in,” Lugo said.

Bermuda close out their group matches tomorrow morning when they play St Vincent and the Grenadines, with the top team advancing to the Division Two semi-finals.
