Zeiko Lewis helped Charleston Battery to advance to the USL Championships Eastern Conference quarter-finals after beating Ottawa Fury 5-4 on penalties in a play-off match yesterday.

The match ended 1-1 after regulation time, with Kotaro Higashi opening the scoring for Battery, the visiting side, in the 27th minute before Fury levelled through Mour Samb in the 40th minute.

Lewis, the Bermuda forward, converted his effort in the penalty shoot-out.

Battery will now face Nashville SC in the Eastern Conference Quarter-finals on Saturday.
