Ten-man QPR suffer heavy defeat
Queens Park Rangers continued their slide down the Sky Bet Championship after losing 4-0 at home to Nottingham Forest yesterday.
Nahki Wells, the QPR and Bermuda striker, was substituted in the 83rd minute.
The home side were trailing 1-0 at the interval after fifteenth-minute goal from Tobias Figueiredo.
However, the sending off of Lee Wallace for a reckless foul five minutes into the second half gave Forest a numerical advantage which they capitalised on late in the game by scoring three goals in the final ten minutes.
Lewis Grabban doubled the Forest lead in the 81st minute with a shot into the bottom corner from close range.
Forest made certain of the three points with further goals in the 88th minute through João Carvalho and Alfa Semedo in the first minute of stoppage time.
The defeat dropped QPR down to sixteenth place.
