Archers announce registration for youth players
The Warwick Archers, the youth football programme for Robin Hood, has opened registration for the upcoming 2020-2021 season.
The programme’s success continued this past season with the under-13 Bows winning the Gregory Grimes Cup and the under-15 Bows retaining their titles in the Lee Holder Cup and the Bermuda Football Association Under-15 Youth League.
Additionally, the under-13, under-15 and under-17 teams had advanced to the finals/semi-finals of the Bermuda FA Knock Out Championships before the season was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Once players are registered an invitation will be sent to attend specific assessment sessions. Government Covid-19 health advisories and procedures for gatherings will be followed and sessions will be limited to groups of the maximum permitted number.
The assessment sessions will begin tomorrow and continue through until Saturday, June 27 at Warwick Academy lower field.
Additional details regarding session times and dates, as well as the Covid-19 procedures will be sent after players have registered.
The programme offers playing opportunities for:
• Under-13 — players born in 2007 and 2008
• Under-15 — players born in 2005 and 2006
• Under-17 — players born in 2003 and 2004
