Bermuda are pulling out all the stops in their bid to get past the group stages and advance to the Concacaf W Championship. They will play four matches in group C against favourites Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic and Grenada, with the six winners of the respective groups advancing.

The Jamaica match will start at 7pm Bermuda time and the second qualifier against Cayman Islands at 6pm, with all matches available for live viewing on the Concacaf app. The match against Cayman Islands will be streamed live on the BFA YouTube channel for Bermuda audiences only.

The Grenada and Dominican Republic matches are set for April but venues and dates have not been confirmed.

“It is with excitement that I name the 23 players that will be representing Bermuda for the 2023 Women's World Cup Qualifiers,” said Naquita Robinson, the Bermuda head coach.

“All the players have been working extremely hard over the past two years and are ready to take on the challenge which lies ahead.

“Selecting this team wasn't an easy task because everyone has put in the work. We understand players will be disappointed, but not making this round doesn't eliminate them for the next one.”

The bulk of the Bermuda squad is based overseas, but all have made themselves available for the upcoming matches.

“The players are looking forward to this opportunity to showcase all their hard work and see this as an opportunity for success,” Robinson said.

“Our coaching team has worked hard to prepare the players for these matches, and we are ready to go. Thank you, Bermuda, for all your support and we will continue to make you proud.”
