Bermuda get favourable draw in Concacaf Under-17 qualifiers
Bermuda have been drawn in group A for the upcoming Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Championship Qualifiers.
The draw, which took place in Miami, placed the 22 participating teams into four groups.
Joining Bermuda in group A are Guyana, Bahamas, Bonaire, St Martin and the British Virgin Islands.
Group B is made up of St Lucia, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Martinique, Anguilla and the US Virgin Islands, while the Dominican Republic, St Kitts & Nevis, Cayman Islands, St Vincent & the Grenadines and Dominica have been placed in group C.
Finally, group D will be contested by Nicaragua, Antigua & Barbuda, Grenada, Belize and Turks & Caicos Islands.
The qualifying round-robin group stage will be played between August 30 and September 8 at a venue to be determined. The four group winners will advance next year to the main championship, joining the top 16 nations in the region.
