UT7 Challenge Cup to reach conclusion

The seventh UT7 Challenge Cup Tournament, in honour of the late Uthman Talbot, will conclude today at Warrior Park, on Somersall Road, Smith’s.

Real Ballers, who won all four of their matches in group A in the three-a-side tournament, will play Underrated FC, the bottom of four teams in group B, in the first quarter-final match at 6pm on Field 1.

Two other 6pm kick-offs, on Fields 2 and 3, will see WA Good FC, the top team in group B, playing PwC Kicking Assets of group A and Old Lady, runners-up in group A, taking on group B team 2022 Select.

The remaining quarter-final on Field 4 will see Members playing 7110 to determine the final team for the semi-finals, which will start at 6.40pm. The third-place match is set for 7.20pm with the final a half-hour later.

The leading scorers for each team include Marco Warren and Blenn Bean, of Old Lady; Elisha Darrell, of Members; Sahita Khurana, of PwC Kicking Assets; Ajai Daniels, of Real Ballers FC; Teiko Lowe, of 2022 Select; Donavan Thompson, of Underrated FC; Tomiko Goater, of WA Good; Troy Tucker, of 7110; and Shaun Brown, of Three Musketeers.
