Players will have access to increased medical expertise should they suffer a significant on-field injury after the Bermuda Football Association signed an agreement with Bermuda Healthcare Services.

The deal means that Bermuda Healthcare Services becomes the official imaging sports provider for the BFA and will ensure that the island’s leading footballers have access to the most experienced and qualified diagnostic imaging team on the island.

Bermuda Healthcare Services chairman, former premier Ewart Brown said: “For 30 years, Bermuda HealthCare Services has supported various sporting institutions and individual athletes through financial sponsorships and awards.

“Today's announcement of the agreement with BFA represents the natural progression on the road to further success for the island's footballers by ensuring they receive top-level care to excel locally and internationally.

“Our Diagnostic Imaging team has over 60 combined years of experience and is uniquely qualified to diagnose sports-related injuries professionally. We look forward to working with the BFA administration and members as their partners in health and sportsmanship.”
