Warwick Academy to host high-performance football camps

Chance to improve: Former Bermuda Football Coaches Association president Richard Todd, who is part of International Development Academy will be hosting two football camps at Warwick Academy over the February School break

Warwick Academy have joined forces with International Development Academy in a bid to try and help aspiring football players reach their full potential.

Having launched a successful high-performance swimming programme last year, the school are now turning their attention to football, with the launch of a pilot programme this year.

With a view to increasing the programme offering for football next year, IDA will be holding two camps for players who are looking to boost their levels of playing and performance over the school holiday between February 6 to 10.

The first, a skills and gameplay accelerator camp is for boys and girls aged from under-11 to under-12 and includes 15 hours of activities designed to enhance individual player skills and gameplay.

The second, a high0performance training camp for boys and girls aged from under-13 to under-16 is made up of around 22 hours and is aimed at the focused player aspiring to reach an elite level.
