Rivalry resumed: Bermuda take on Guyana in League B group B of the Concacaf Nations League at the Flora Duffy Stadium (Photograph by Carlos Zepeda/Concacaf/Straffon Images)

Bermuda welcome Guyana to the Flora Duffy Stadium for a crucial clash in League B group B in the Concacaf Nations League.

After prevailing 2-1 in the previous meeting between the sides in June, second-placed Guyana hold a two-point advantage over Bermuda heading into the penultimate match of the group stages.

With just three points separating Guyana, who occupy one of the 24 Gold Cup preliminary round qualification spots, and bottom-placed Montserrat, the magnitude of the match is clear.

Victory would enhance Kyle Lightbourne’s side’s odds of securing their League B status for the next instalment of the Nations League, which begins in September, and keep hopes of qualifying for the Gold Cup preliminary round alive.
