Keziah Martin signed by Boston United
Keziah Martin has left Kidderminster Harriers to sign for Boston United, of the Vanarama National League North division.
In making the move to the East Midlands club, which was announced yesterday, the 23-year-old Bermudian midfielder will eye more first-team football in the wake of being released by the Harriers.
Kidderminster won promotion to the National League, the fifth tier of English football, by beating Brackley Town 2-0 after extra time in the play-off final on May 14.
However, Martin, whose last appearance for the club was as a 90th-minute substitute in a 2-0 win over Fylde on April 10, made limited appearances throughout the season — starting for the final time in a 2-0 defeat at home by Chester on December 7.
He was one of six players released by Kidderminster at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
The son of former St George’s winger Greg Foggo no doubt will see the move to the Pilgrims, who were fifteenth in the 24-team North division, as the chance to impose himself in the sixth tier.
“A new chapter, buzzing to get this done, can’t wait to get started,” he said on Twitter after the signing was confirmed.
