Paget Lions have a score to settle in their Premier Division clash with Dandy Town at Goose Gosling Field tonight (9pm).

Town came from behind to edge their rivals 2-1 in an exciting Dudley Eve Trophy group stage affair at PHC Field last month.

Substitute Jahzardae Samuels was Town’s hero as he scored two late goals to complete the impressive fightback having fallen behind to Diage Hart’s first half tally for promoted side Paget. Both teams are heading into tonight’s match fresh off defeats in the Dudley Eve Trophy quarter-finals in midweek.

Town suffered a humbling 4-0 thrashing at the hands of a rampant Devonshire Cougars while Paget went down 2-1 against Hamilton Parish in the second game of a double-header at PHC Field.

Tonight’s intriguing match-up will be preceded by the First Division encounter between Robin Hood and Southampton Rangers, set to kick off at 7pm.

Premier Division action continues tomorrow with defending champions PHC hosting Devonshire Cougars at PHC Field (6.30pm), North Village doing battle with Hamilton Parish at Bernard Park and X-Roads Warriors locking horns with St George’s at Lord’s, St David’s.

The remaining top-flight match between Young Men’s Social Club and Somerset Trojans at Devonshire Recreation Club has been moved from tomorrow to Monday (8pm).

Like Parish and Cougars, Village also have momentum heading into the weekend having prevailed over St George’s in their previous outing this week in the Dudley Eve Trophy quarter-finals.

PHC, who bowed out of the Dudley Eve after losing to defending champions Somerset Trojans in the quarter-finals, will be keen to get back to winning ways along with the likes of Town, Paget and Social Club while X-Roads and St George’s have yet to get a win under their belts in all competitions so far this season.

Tomorrow’s remaining First Division matches will see Devonshire Colts hosting Ireland Rangers at Police Field, St David’s are at home to Vasco at Lord’s, while Wolves and Boulevard will square off at Bernard Park.
