The FA Cup preliminary round fixture between Inter Bermuda and Southampton Rangers, due to be played tonight at Goose Gosling Field, has been postponed due to the pitch not being in a good state.

The match between the Corona League champions and the First Division side will now be played on Monday at 8pm.

Terrisa Stewart, the BFA marketing committee chair stated that some areas of the field were not suitable for playing after the heavy rainfall.

“The field is not available due to the flooding after the rain,’’ Stewart said. “It looks fine but there’s parts of the field that are flooded so it does not meet the criteria for playing this evening.”
