The Premier Division matchbetween Dandy Town and Devonshire Cougars on Monday night was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

There has yet to be any official confirmation from the Bermuda Football Association regarding the postponement, nor any early indication of a proposed rescheduled date.

Cougars were going in search of a third successive victory, fresh off the back of a 4-1 thrashing of Paget last Thursday, while Dandy Town were looking to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat to PHC in their previous encounter.

It is the second top-flight game in as many days to have been called off at short notice after the match between St George’s and Paget Lions on Sunday was postponed due to shortage of matchday officials.

The match was scheduled to take place at 3pm at Wellington Oval, only for the two teams to be informed of the situation shortly before travelling to the ground.
