Devonshire Colts 2 Robin Hood 1
Unbeaten First Division league leaders Devonshire Colts are also in contention for the Shield Trophy after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Robin Hood at St David’s Oval on Sunday.
Chemari Henry opened the scoring after a quick break followed by a curling, right-footed free-kick from Daniel Ball to give Colts a 2-0 lead. Jahron Dickinson pulled a goal back for Hood from the penalty spot after Nayan Grant was brought down in the box.
Dickinson missed a golden opportunity to equalise on the stroke of half-time but glanced his header wide when unmarked at the back post from a Clay Darrell cross.
Colts held on to the one-goal lead to play out the second half and advance into the semi-finals.
