Bermuda discover opponents in Nations League
Bermuda have been drawn against Dominican Republic, Antigua and Barbuda and Dominica in the 2024-25 Concacaf Nations League.
Michael Findlay's side have been drawn in Group D of League B and will face each of the other teams twice across international windows in September, October and November, with Concacaf announcing that the games will be played at a centralised venue in each window to alleviate possible travel challenges posed within the region.
Bermuda will host the other three nations during the October window and will travel to Antigua and Barbuda in October and Dominican Republic in November.
As before, all teams in League B face the prospect of promotion and relegation with group winners earning a place in League A, while the bottom-placed finishers will drop down into League C.
Bermuda will be aiming to claim top spot after missing out on promotion following a disappointing 3-0 defeat in a crunch decider away to French Guiana, in Martinique, in November.
Ahead of the Nations League, Findlay's side will first be turning their attention to trying to take a major step towards qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
In the second stage of the Concacaf qualification process, Bermuda have been placed in group A alongside Honduras, Antigua & Barbuda, Cuba and Cayman Islands.
The campaign opens with a trip away to Antigua & Barbuda before hosting group favourites Honduras during the first window next month. The second fixture window in June of next year will include the visit of Cayman Islands before concluding with an away game against Cuba.
Only the winners and runners-up from each of the six groups automatically progress through to the final stage of qualification.
