Stephen Allen and Laura Wright stamped their authority on the annual Swan’s Running Club Turkey Trot 10K to win the men’s and women’s titles.

Allen, who finished second in the Bacardi 8K a week earlier, opened up a four-minute winning margin as he came home first overall in 33 minutes and 13 seconds on the loop course along North Shore Road yesterday.

Runner-up was Martiz Theron, who clocked a time of 37:31 to stay ahead of William Wood (37.56), the first Masters runner.

First woman Wright had a comfortable winning margin at 43:37, ahead of women’s May 24 Derby champion Rose-Anna Hoey (45:52).
