Coral Beach & Tennis Club to hold prestigious over 40s tournament

The prestigious 2022 Bermuda Breeze Tennis Championships will be held at Coral Beach and Tennis Club next week.

The tournament, which is officially sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association, takes place from October 16 to October 23 and is open to players aged 40 and older.

Open to any player registered with the USTA, the competition features play in various age groups, incluiding 40s, 50s, 55s, 60s, 65s and 70s in men’s and women’s singles and doubles and mixed doubles.

Expected to attract visiting players from America, the deadline for registration is tomorrow and locals are encouraged to compete with more than $5,000 in prize money up for grabs.

Players registering for the tournament will be welcomed at a cocktail party on Wednesday, October 19. There will be a beach barbecue and bonfire party on Friday, October 21 and a fantastic prize-giving gala on Saturday, October 22.
