Appleby to take on Alexandra Mosher in ball hockey finals

The Bermuda Ball Hockey Association season is set to come to an exciting conclusion in the next few days.

Appleby will take on Alexandra Mosher in a best-of-three final at the hockey rink at Pembroke Community Club, with the first game taking place on Friday evening.

The two teams will then meet on Wednesday and next Friday, when the league champions will be crowned.

With Appleby already waiting for them in the final, Alexandra Mosher defeated BDA Spirits 5-2 on Wednesday to book their place in the title decider.

Alexandra Mosher won the first match 2-1 but lost the second fixture 4-1. They made amends for that defeat in Wednesday’s encounter by winning 5-2 to ensure they remain in with a shout of winning the league.

Appleby, who finished top of the table at the end of the regular season saw off Frontier in the quarter-finals and beat Positive Image Dental in the semi-finals last week.

The league that is made up of eight teams with the competition starting in October last year.
