Ignition hosts seminar on the cloud
Small and medium-sized businesses will be able to learn more about the benefits and risks of cloud computing and the importance of records management of business continuity thanks to a series of seminar put on by Ignition next week.The first seminar, entitled ‘Private Cloud for your Business Continuity’, which will be held on Thursday July 21 between 8am and 9.30am and includes continental breakfast, will focus on understanding the advantages and pitfalls of cloud computing and helping to manage expectations of what the cloud can offer a business.The one-hour session will take participants through the private cloud to help them make a well-informed decision on the direction to take their business in.The second seminar, ‘Records Management for Business Continuity’, which takes place on Thursday July 21 from 12pm to 1.30pm and comes with a light lunch, will look at business continuity and its reliance on uninterrupted access to vital records and critical information systems.The session will help companies identify their needs for protecting their information assets during this hurricane season, and to incorporate files, records and data into their disaster plans.The seminars will be led by Michael Branco, senior vice-president of Ignition Ltd, and Sonya Sherman, records management specialist, Ignition Ltd.Both seminars take place at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce boardroom, 1 Point Pleasant Road, HamiltonFor more information visit http://www.ignitionmsp.com/contact-ignition.html
