Digicel yesterday launched its latest BlackBerry model, the Curve 9320 smartphone, which allows you to listen to FM radio.The new phone also has the longest lasting battery life yet in a BlackBerry Curve model, Digicel said.Digicel Group commercial director, Brian Finn, said, “Smartphones have revolutionised the way we communicate because they enable us to stay continuously connected. The popularity of BlackBerry smartphones from Digicel shows that customers want the very latest functionalities and data capabilities on their handsets, but they do not want to compromise on style.”The phone is being launched across the Caribbean, Central America and Bermuda.The BlackBerry Curve 9320 smartphone features the best keyboard in its class, a dedicated BBMkey, Facebook for BlackBerry and Twitter for BlackBerry apps are included as well as Social Feeds, which allows users to post updates to multiple social applications simultaneously and capture updates from news sources (RSS), social apps and instant messaging apps all in one consolidated view. The new Curve smartphone also includes a built-in camera, Wi-Fi connectivity and FM radio, allowing users to tune into their favourite local stations — listening to the FM radio does not require a data plan or use data services.Customers can get up to seven hours of talk time or up to 28 hours of FM radio listening or music playback with headphones.
