Big Mac of hacks: Burger King's Twitter account was hacked on Monday and made to look like McDonald's.

Call it the Big Mac of Twitter hacks. Burger King’s Twitter account, which has more than 89,000 followers, was hacked on Monday and made to look like McDonald’s — with the golden arches logo and all.The fast-food company’s Twitter picture was changed to a McDonald’s logo and its background photo changed to McDonald’s new Fish McBites product. The hackers even tweeted the company had been sold to McDonald’s.Some posts from the account contained racial epithets, references to drug use and obscenities. The account has also tweeted: "if I catch you at a wendys, we're fightin!"Burger King Worldwide Inc. spokesman Bryson Thornton said the tweets stopped after a little more than an hour and that the company reached out to Twitter administrators to suspend the account. The Miami-based company later posted a statement on Facebook apologising for the incident, especially for the offensive posts.
