SailGP and Relm Insurance to sponsor Tech Summit
SailGP, the purpose-led globally racing league, and Relm Insurance will sponsor the opening and closing receptions of the 2022 Bermuda Tech Summit.
After two years of being held virtually, the fourth annual Bermuda Tech Summit will be held in person at the Hamilton Princess Hotel and Beach Club from October 26-28.
The Summit is presented by the Bermuda Business Development Agency, government’s Economic Development Department and fintech industry association, NEXT Bermuda.
SailGP CEO Sir Russell Coutts said: “Partnering with the Bermuda Tech Summit is an obvious fit for SailGP.
“Not only are we excited to be coming to the island again in season 4 on May 4-5, 2023, but technology and innovation is part of our DNA. ”When we created SailGP our aim was to disrupt the industry and lead the way in terms of technology.
“We want to be at the forefront – not just what’s happening today – but looking at, and leading, what’s happening tomorrow, which aligns perfectly with the Tech Summit and this year's theme of resilience and innovation."
Relm CEO Joseph Ziolkowski said: “Relm is thrilled to be collaborating with the BDA, EDD, and NEXT Bermuda, to participate in and sponsor this year’s Bermuda Tech Summit.
“The theme, resilience and innovation is more relevant than ever, and we look forward to a three-day brainstorm with the impressive line-up of speakers and all the attendees.”
David Hart, BDA CEO said: “In addition, we are thrilled that Carey Olsen, Walkers, Jewel Bank, Bittrex Global, Chainproof, Coinzoom and Apex have also come on board as Bermuda Tech Summit sponsors, joining Hub Culture, Appleby, 24 Exchange, Clarien, and Blockchain Triangle.
“Without the generous support of our sponsors, we could not put on this important in-person event highlighting Bermuda’s dynamic tech sector, leadership, and innovation.”
