The Cathedral of The Most Holy Trinity has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by travel website Trip Advisor.

The accolade is based on visitor reviews on the international website. As of last night, the average rating for the Cathedral was 4½ stars, with visitors calling it “stunning” and “inspirational”.

The Hamilton landmark is one of several local destinations that have been honoured by the website, including Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, Blue Water Divers & Watersports, Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art and the Crystal Caves.

Canon Norman Lynas expressed his gratification at the award yesterday, saying: “It’s pleasing that the experience of the visitors shows that the Cathedral is a worthwhile place to come to, and that they are truly welcomed.”
