Azores flights to resume in June

Direct flights to the Azores are scheduled to return next month, while service to Toronto slightly increases.

However, the British Airways service to London is set to be reduced for much of the month.

According to the June 2022 flight schedule, the weekly SATA Airlines service between Bermuda and Ponta Delgada will resume on June 21.

Meanwhile, Air Canada will expand its service to Toronto from three flights a week to four with the addition of a Wednesday flight effective from June 22.

While the airline had received complaints from travellers over the late timing of its flights, which made it difficult for passengers to make connections to other destinations, most of the June flights are scheduled to depart earlier in the day.

The Thursday flight is still scheduled to depart Bermuda at 9pm, but the other Air Canada flights will leave the island at 1.10pm.

British Airways, meanwhile, will slightly reduce service between Bermuda and London, cutting the Friday flight for three weeks before it returns on June 24.

The airline will continue to offer flights to Britain on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays throughout the month.

Air service to other destinations will be the same as this month with daily service to Boston, New York, Miami, Charlotte, Philadelphia and Newark, along with four weekly flights between Bermuda and Atlanta.
