Celebrity chef Anne Burrell to take part in Taste of Bermuda
Award-winning celebrity chef and culinary instructor Anne Burrell will be visiting Bermuda to take part in the City of Hamilton’s annual food festival, Taste of Bermuda.
“I am super excited to be a part of this year’s Taste of Bermuda weekend,” Ms Burrell said. “Bermuda is such a beautiful and special place and nothing makes me happier than to cook for people and it is truly an honour to meet with culinary students who will be our chefs of the future.”
The City of Hamilton’s director of marketing and communications, Jessica Astwood, said: “[We are] thrilled to host Ms Burrell at this year’s Taste of Bermuda festival. Anyone who has ever watched her on the Food Network will know that the energy and passion that she has for cooking and delicious food is second to none.”
The Bermuda Tourism Authority is helping to sponsor the event along with the city.
“The BTA is delighted that the city has brought Ms Burrell on board to showcase her expertise and personality to the people of Bermuda as well as those international attendees who have endeavoured to make Taste a part of their visitor experience,” a BTA spokesman said.
The festival is scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 2. Tickets went on sale today at www.ptix.bm.
