American Airlines Miami service to halt next month
Direct air service to Miami will halt next month as American Airlines scales back service to the island.
No American Airline flights to Miami are included in the June flight schedule, published by Skyport, while service to Philadelphia will be slightly reduced from daily flights to six a week.
However, the airline is scheduled to continue its daily service to Charlotte and New York JFK.
The Government previously announced that American Airlines would suspend its Miami service over the summer due to flight crew availability constraints but the service is expected to resume in November.
Seasonal Sata Airlines flights to the Azores are expected to resume on June 13, with weekly service to Ponta Delgada.
Air Canada will meanwhile further boost airlift to Toronto offering five flights a week compared with four this month.
Meanwhile, WestJet will continue to offer weekly service to the Canadian city, although it appears the airline may bolster its service by the end of the month with two flights scheduled for the final week of June.
JetBlue’s daily service to Boston, New York JFK and New York LaGuardia are scheduled to continue throughout the month, as will British Airways daily service to London Heathrow and United Airlines daily service to Newark.
Delta Air Lines will offer four weekly flights to New York JFK and three weekly flights to Atlanta.
