The Hamilton Princess has been named among the “Best of the Best” this year by Tripadvisor members.

The hotel was included on the travel website’s Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards Top 25 list for Top Hotel and Luxury Hotel in the Caribbean, earning the 21st spot.

The website praised the hotel as having everything a traveller could need to make their vacation a “truly memorable experience”.

Tim Morrison, the general manager of the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said: “The Best of the Best Award is a wonderful win. Every day our colleagues show genuine care and attention to our guests’ needs, resulting in the positive reviews that made this accomplishment possible.

“We are thankful to our guests and the community who thought so highly of us and support the hotel.”

Tripadvisor’s annual Best of the Best awards are based on customer reviews over a 12-month period.

The Caribbean category was won this year by the Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort in Aruba, while the Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, India won the overall Best of the Best award.

No other Bermuda hotel made this year’s Top 25 for the region. However, Horseshoe Bay was included in the website’s list of best beaches in the Caribbean, describing it as one of the most stunning beaches on the island.

“The beach is especially popular during the summer months, with a lifeguard on duty and a beachside café serving delicious food,” the website said. “If you're lucky, you might be able to catch a weekly beach volleyball competition.

“Be sure to explore the beautiful cove on the west end of the beach, where sea stacks create a natural pool that's perfect for a refreshing swim.”
