Restaurant Weeks set to deliver culinary surprises
Restaurant Weeks, which starts tomorrow, is set to deliver an array of culinary experiences in Bermuda.
The Bermuda Tourism Authority said that about 50 restaurants would be taking part in the event, which runs from January 18 to February 29.
The participating venues will offer either a two-course lunches or three-course dinners. The event is budget-friendly and flexible - prices will range from $25 to $59.
Each prix fixe menu will be available for dine-in or takeaway.
During Restaurant Weeks, several ticketed events will be held.
On January 26, Tiffanie Barriere will host a drink and tapas pairing with Alchemy Spirits.
Celebrate in the Clouds with master mixologist Tiffanie Barriere will take place at Wellesley House South beginning at 6pm. Admission is $95 for the over-18 event.
Ms Barriere has appeared as a judge on Drink Masters, a Netflix show.
Culinary Artistry in Paradise will take place on February 28 at 6.30pm. Celebrity chef Charlie Mitchell will present a four-course meal. Premier Tickets Bermuda described the event as “an immersive VIP experience at the Pink Beach Club”. Tickets are $275 per person.
This culinary experience will take place at the Loren and include pre-celebration cocktails, live entertainment and a meet-and-greet with Mr Mitchell, who is executive chef at Clover Hill restaurant in Brooklyn Heights.
In 2022, he received the Michelin New York City chef award, making him the first Black chef to receive a star in NYC.
The Loren at Pink Beach will offer a whiskey experience from February 25 to February 28, with select packages ranging from $295 to $1,200 per person.
