New pools proposed for Cambridge Beaches cottages

A West End hotel is planning to expand its amenities, according to a recent planning application.
The application, submitted late last year by Cambridge Beaches, proposes the creation of new swimming pools at three of the cottages on its Sandys property.
Pegem, Sunrise and Windswept cottages would also be subject to landscaping upgrades in the project with new pool decks and plantings.
The hotel, which celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, was bought by US hotelier Dovetail + Co in 2021 and has undergone extensive upgrades.
It was highlighted in Travel + Leisure ’s annual “It List”, which showcases the most innovative and exciting new hotel properties from around the world.
