A cruise liner was given a warm Bermudian welcome during her first voyage to the island at the weekend.
Explora I arrived in Dockyard from Miami, Florida, on Saturday.
Tinée Furbert, the acting tourism minister, exchanged a plaque with ship captain Diego Micelozzi to mark the visit.
The liner, which launched in August 2023, brought 705 passengers to the island and left for Horta, in the Azores, yesterday.
A government spokeswoman said: “Despite inclement weather during its overnight stay, numerous passengers embraced the opportunity to explore Bermuda on guided tours and strolls through the historic Royal Naval Dockyard.”
