Aaron Evans clocked a season-best time to win his first 800 metres race of the outdoor season at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, at the weekend.The University of Georgia athlete Evans finished half a second faster than the second-place finisher in a time of one minute, 48.63 seconds, to move into the nation’s top 30 800m runners this season.Tre Houston competed in the Cal State LA Tommy Tiny Lister Classic and came fourth in his heat in the 100m with a time of 10.71, finishing sixth overall. He also ran the 200m with a time of 21.44, placing 3rd in his heat, finishing sixth overall.Jasmine Brunson, competing in the ACC Championships, placed 7th with a leap of 12.47m in the triple jump and sixth with a leap of 6.09m in the long jumpHenry Stevens-Caty in the Southern Conference Championships placed third in the 800m with a personal best of 1:51.71.
