Julia Hawley and Ashley Yearwood appointed to lead Bermuda at Junior Pan Am Games

The Bermuda Olympic Association has announced the appointment of the leadership of Bermuda’s delegation to the 2021 Junior Pan Am Games in Cali, Colombia, this year.

Julia Hawley will fill the position of chef de mission, while Ashley Yearwood will support the team as assistant chef de mission and Covid liaison officer.

“We are pleased to have Julia and Ashley leading our athletes to Cali,” said Judy Simons, president of the BOA. “Their experience and dedication to supporting our athletes will be of tremendous benefit to our team and allow them to approach their respective competitions with confidence.”

Bermuda is likely to be represented at the inaugural Junior Pan Am Games, scheduled from November 25 to December 5, in archery, athletics, cycling, sailing, swimming, tennis and Triathlon. Final team selection is under way and will be announced closer to the Games.
