Bermuda’s last medal hopes at the Paris Olympic Games were dashed after flag-bearer Jah-Nhai Perinchief was eliminated in the men’s triple jump at the Stade de France today.

The 2022 Commonwealth Games bronze medal-winner, who is making his debut at the Games, bowed out after finishing 28th out of the 32 qualifiers with a best effort 16.23 metres — just over half a metre shy of the 16.79 mark that ensured a place in the final on Friday.
