Bus services have been scaled back as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the Department of Public Transport said tonight.

Ferry services will also operate under a revised schedule from next week, with some routes cancelled as a result of stricter public health rules.

A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Transport said that buses will operate on a Sunday schedule throughout the week, although some additional routes will be provided.

The spokeswoman said: “There are a number of additional morning and evening runs that will operate from Monday to Saturday only.”

She added: “The Department of Marine and Ports Services advises the public that effective Monday May, 3, the ferry service will operate under a revised schedule.”
