Updated: May 03, 2021 06:24 PM
Bus and ferry riders got a bonus this week with the Ministry of Transport extending April passes for both services into May.
Lawrence Scott, the transport minister, said it had been “a trying time for all of us”.
He added: “We know that there have been some challenges with the bus and ferry schedule during the stay-at-home order period, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused our passengers.”
Mr Scott said he hoped the gesture offered public transportation users “some financial respite".
