A road near the new St Regis hotel will be closed for a day next week to carry out emergency pump repairs.

A spokeswoman said: “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that Hotelco will need to undertake emergency pump repairs along Bourne Drive at the Five Fort Golf Course path in St George’s.

“This partial road closure will commence Tuesday June 22 to be completed within a day. Working hours will be from 9am to 4pm.

“Motorists are asked to traverse carefully through the golf course designated area to detour around this section of closure.”

The spokeswoman said that any questions regarding the works should be directed to Tina Beer-Searle, Civil Engineer Highways at 501-3044.
