Bus service to return to normal from Monday
The bus schedule will return to normal on Monday, the Department of Transportation said today.
A spokeswoman for the department said: “The regular weekday public bus schedule will resume operating as of Monday morning. We wish to thank the public for their patience and apologise for the inconvenience caused by the reduced service.
“As a reminder to our passengers, each of us has a role to play in stopping the spread of the coronavirus. Please continue to follow the health guidelines. This includes wearing a mask, hand sanitising and maintaining the appropriate physical distancing.”
The bus service was put on an “enhanced Sunday schedule” earlier this month because of staff absences caused by Covid-19.
