Woman, 72, treated in hospital after road crash

A 72-year-old woman is being treated in hospital after she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a wall yesterday afternoon.
The crash resulted in debris from the damaged wall hitting another car.
Police said they received a report of the incident which occurred at about 3.30pm on Middle Road near the junction with Peppercorn Lane in Southampton.
A spokeswoman for the Bermuda Police Service said: “The woman was transported to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries, the extent of which is not known at this time.”
Traffic was temporarily diverted after the incident.
